In the way that some people are born to live freely, Lizzie radiates the kind of creativity that knows no boundaries. Our first meeting, sparked by a shared love of brocanting, led to an instant connection—a friendship that felt as though it had always been meant to be.

Lizzie is electric, alive with energy that flows through everything she touches. Her mind is sharp, a brilliant mix of philosophical insight and cleverness, and when she speaks, it’s as though each word is chosen to spark something in you.

But it’s her creativity, which pours from every cell of her being, that leaves a lasting impression.

There is no box Lizzie fits into. She’s a kaleidoscope of influences, an eclectic mix of passions and quirks. When I visited her home in Sonoma, the landscape unfolding as we drove was a vivid reminder of the ties between places I love—California’s rolling hills felt like a connection to France. But it wasn’t until I arrived at Lizzie’s door that I truly felt that intertwining of worlds.

The moment I stepped inside, I understood:
Lizzie’s home is not just a space—it’s an extension of herself. Every inch of it hums with life, with color, with detail. It’s a celebration of what it means to be-

Unapologetically oneself, to embrace every wild and beautiful idea without hesitation.

The walls, the furniture, the artwork—everything speaks with the same voice:
If you love it, make it yours. If it feels right, do it. If it sparks joy, don’t hold back.

It’s a place where creativity reigns, where nothing is off-limits, and where every detail is an invitation to express, to live, to jump in with both feet and make a big splash.

Lizzie’s home is a dynamic reflection of her spirit—full of love, full of life, and never, ever dull. Lizzie is a reminder that the limits we think exist are only in our minds.

Another surprise—among many—is that she’s a great cook! I don’t know why I was surprised, given everything she is, especially since magic is at her fingertips.

Oh what a friend Lizzie is! She lives with a vibrancy that calls us all to do the same: to be bold, to embrace our passions, and to live fully, unapologetically, and without fear of what others might think.

And her closet- let me just say, I wanted everything in her closet. (OK I wanted everything in the house too) but I definitely wanted everything in her closet. Unfortunately, she’s much taller than I am – if that is the excuse.

In her presence, there’s no room for anything less than the fullest expression of life itself.
Thank you Lizzie, for your abundant friendship ❤️
